MARSHALL GOSS JR.
Marshall is a native of Portland, Oregon, born to teen parents, and quickly recognized the significance of community service. Throughout his youth, Marshall held leadership roles, acquiring valuable skills and knowledge to become a youth and community advocate. Embracing a variety of life experiences, Marshall realized his calling to support youth and their families through strategic and progressive mentoring. With over two and half decades of service in various community organizations, including Portland Parks & Recreation, Friends of the Children, Neighborhood House, and Metropolitan Family Service, Marshall has demonstrated his commitment to community empowerment. Notable achievements include organizing successful events like the Teen Summit, founding cultural initiatives such as "Through Our Eyes," and receiving accolades such as the Portland Police Commendation for Community Service and the Friends of the Children Pioneer Award. Recognized for his dedication, Marshall continues to make a lasting impact through his unwavering dedication to service.
