JAWAN MULLEN, JR.

Secretary

A Rose City native, Jawan Mullen has deep roots in the Portland area. He graduated from David Douglas High School in 2010, where he lettered in Football and was a prominent writer for the school’s award-winning newspaper: The Highlander. He graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2015, where he was heavily involved in campus as a member of student government. He earned his J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2020. 

While in college, he was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated in 2014, where he learned the value of service and advocacy. He implements these ideals every day in both his work as an attorney and in the Portland community.  

Jawan is dedicated to the Portland/Metro area. Through his work with BB2S, he aims to help the organization grow, so that the impacted youth can have more access to success in STEM and in life.
